OUR FABRIC AND COATED COTTON COLLECTIONS  

Fleur de Soleil?

Fleur de Soleil is a textile editor. These are our own fabric collections. We launch new products twice a year for the Spring-Summer and Fall-Winter collections. We design our own patterns or we work with textile designers according to our needs and desires, then we choose the colors. To each collection, we add new patterns and / or new colors and we only stop a few! Our motives are therefore followed over several years.

OUR COTTON AND COATED COTTON FABRICS:

Our fabrics are available in exclusive Fleur de Soleil patterns. We create patterns that are both poetic and modern that we print on high quality cotton fabric! Cotton comes from Eastern Europe in cotton bales. It is spun, woven, bleached and printed in the Vosges and it is certified Oeko -Tex class 1. Then our cotton is also coated in the Vosges without toxic products, neither for humans nor for the environment. Our coated canvas is guaranteed phthalate free .

We do not use organic cotton as we print large amounts of fabric and the supply would be too uncertain for regular monitoring. Between the moment we order our ecru (raw cotton before cleaning and bleaching) and the coated fabric, it takes 2 months. The manufacture is therefore industrial " long ".

WHERE ARE OUR PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED ? 

All our fabrics are woven, bleached, printed and coated in Gérardmer in the Vosges. Our fabric stock is then sent to our partner workshop in Le Mans, where all orders are carefully prepared. The workshop is an ESAT, Establishment Specialized in Assistance through Work.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR TABLECLOTH?

For coated tablecloths we recommend a drop of 15-20cm on each side so as not to be disturbed when you sit down. Start by measuring your table and add 40cm to the width and length of the table and you have the tablecloth dimension you need.

 

I DON'T KNOW THE DIMENSION OF THE TABLE?

Don't panic, on each product sheet you have a “how to choose your size” category at the bottom of the page to help you determine the table size according to the number of guests.

I CAN'T FIND THE COATED CANVAS TO THE SIZE I NEED?

If your dimensions are specific and you cannot find the tablecloth that suits you, write to us at contact@fleurdesoleil.fr with your dimensions and we will get back to you with the price of the tablecloth if possible.  

The maximum available width is 160cm except in gray, taupe and plum plains which are available in 180cm wide.

You can also choose your tablecloth by the meter in the Haberdashery / fabric by the meter tab

 

 

CARE TIPS FOR OUR FABRICS

- FOR COATED COTTON PRODUCTS:

- Washing : 

After each meal, clean your tablecloth with a sponge and clean water. For more stubborn stains, such as wine, coffee or tomato sauce, we advise you to clean them quickly, possibly with a little white vinegar.

Machine washing is possible at 40 ° C without fabric softener and with gentle spin.

- Ironing : 

We recommend that you iron your coated cotton tablecloth after each machine wash because the heat of the iron reactivates the stain remover You can iron on the wrong side or on the right side with a wet tab in cotton position.

 

FOR COTTON PRODUCTS: 

- Washing : our cotton fabrics can be machine washed at 60 ° C maximum. 

- Ironing : you can iron in cotton position 

 

DO THE COLORS HOLD IN WASHING ? 

Our prints are made with water soluble inks and free of toxic products. All our cottons are Oeko -Tex class 1 certified , which means that they are suitable even for the little ones.

The colors resist washing, like any cotton. You can wash cotton at 60 ° C if you wish.

A little advice valid for all the textiles you care about. In the same way that we recommend that you wash your jeans inside out or put your lingerie in a bag, put your fabric in a ball with the pattern printed on the inside. Why, what is aggressive in a machine, it is not the products but the claws of the drum, therefore patterns and clothes upside down, and do not overload the machine ! 

Second tip : use detergents without brighteners. Why In other words why " Ariel washes whiter " and Mir Colors takes care of the colors.    

Optical brighteners are bleaching agents. They are the ones which give a slightly blue white in the sun and which dazzle. We have chosen not to bleach our fabrics with optical brighteners, so they are a little less white but more natural and less dazzling ...

It is also these brighteners present in your laundry that bleach colors. You can take the test, it is rare to find detergents without brighteners. So long live Mir Couleurs ! 

Our coating is made with a secret recipe without toxic products. There is no phthalate because phthalates are only present in PVC, polyvinyl chloride. However, our coating is an acrylic resin, water-based, therefore solvent-free. It is the equivalent of acrylic paint and oil paint. Acrylic dissolves in water, oil in turpentine or white spirit, which are solvents.

DO COATED COTTON TABLECLOTHS RESIST OUT IN THE SUN?

Our coated cotton tablecloths are very suitable as garden tablecloths, to put them on tables outside. But remember that the cotton side remains cotton and therefore is not waterproof. The coating forming a screen, the tablecloth may mold on the cotton side, the water remaining trapped.

Watch out for the sun and especially the moon.

We do our utmost to have UV resistant colors But certain colors are more fragile, pinks and oranges… Especially when the colors are in small quantity or in mixtures, which can be the case of the taupe . 

Why the moon The ancients understood this well by making their sheets white in the rays of the moon or rather the sun through the moon . 

 

So what to do If you want to keep your tablecloths impeccable for a long time, store them in the evening with your cushions ;-) !  

 

AFTER SOME TIME, THE TABLECLOTH STICKS ...

Here is an unsolved mystery and a vast debate between the person in charge of the coating and us. From time to time we have returns of tablecloth that "stick". Unfortunately for us, no other explanation than certain cleaning products used, the heat, the sweat of the forearms ... A natural phenomenon on a certain number of materials in hot weather.

But the good news is that it is very simple that it does not stick anymore. You just need to put a little talcum powder or even flour on the table and wipe off the excess. Guaranteed efficiency!

 

ORDER ON FLEUR DE SOLEIL

IS IT POSSIBLE TO PURCHASE PRODUCTS DIRECTLY FROM THE STORE?

Yes, you can come and see the patterns in real life and touch the fabric, but the made- to-order products are only made to order: round tablecloth, oval tablecloth, placemat etc ...

You can ask us for samples directly in our shop. For that, write us contact@fleurdesoleil.fr and we will be happy to send them to you.   

 

THE I WANTED ITEM IS OUT OF STOCK! WILL THERE BE A REASSORT?

All our collections are followed over several years. When the stock is out, we usually do a restocking within 2-3 months! But there are exceptions and some colors work less well than others, it sometimes happens that we stop a reference. So do not hesitate, we have set up a stock alert, you can enter your email address on the page of the product out of stock. And if you cannot remain without knowing send us an email: contact@fleurdesoleil.fr 

 

 

SECURE PAYMENT ON FLEUR DE SOLEIL

 

WHAT PAYMENT METHOD CAN I USE TO PAY MY ORDER ONLINE?

We accept credit cards, bank transfers as well as Paypal payment .

 

IS MY PAYMENT SECURE?

Yes, we work with Dalenys which secures our eshop as well as your payments. And to add a level of security we have the 3D secure system on our eshop which means that to validate your payment you will need to enter the code that your bank will send you.

 

I CAN'T VALIDATE MY PAYMENT?

If you do not receive your security code and you cannot pay for your order online, call us on +33 (0) 9 71.43.38.70.

 

I DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR MY ORDER ONLINE, HOW CAN I PAY?

If you don't want to pay online, you can pay by card by phone on +33 (0) 9 71.43.38.70.

You can also send us a check, noting the number of your order on the back to the address: Boutique Fleur de Soleil - 13 rue de Castellane - 75008 Paris.

We will send you the order upon receipt, we advise you to write us an email beforehand to notify us.

 

 

DELIVERY OF YOUR FLEUR DE SOLEIL ORDERS

 

I JUST PLACED AN ORDER! WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY FLEUR DE SOLEIL PACKAGE?

Your orders are generally shipped the next day or the next day , excluding weekends and holidays! This period may be a little longer at the end of the year, for example. You will receive a confirmation email upon receipt of payment (remember to look in your junk mail !). You can also check the status of your order in your Fleur de Soleil account under "orders". And if you have any questions, we are available by email at commande@fleurdesoleil.fr . You will receive an email with the tracking number when your package is shipped from our workshop in Le Mans. You can follow it by going to GLS        

 

CAN I CHOOSE MY DELIVERY METHOD?

All our orders for mainland France are shipped with GLS. You can choose between delivery to your home against signature or delivery to a relay point. We advise you to put an address where a person is likely to be present during the day: professional address, neighbor ... And do not forget to specify the door codes if you live in a secure residence otherwise the driver will not be able to not deliver to you.    

  

THE GLS DELIVERER HAS PASSED BUT I WASN'T THERE?

Don't panic, the driver must have left you a calling card with a phone number to either make an appointment or choose a relay point. If your package is noted “undelivered” but you do not have a delivery notice, write to commande@fleurdesoleil.fr so that we can organize a redelivery .      

 

I CHOSEN DELIVERY TO A RELAY POINT: WHEN CAN I PICK UP MY ORDER?

You will receive an email or text from our carrier GLS. From this moment, you can collect your package within 10 days. If this period is exceeded, the package will be returned to us We can of course return your order to you under payment of the second shipping cost To avoid this, do not hesitate to check your spam, your Fleur de Soleil account in the "orders" section or send us an email to commande@fleurdesoleil.fr so that we can check where your package is before the deadline has passed. !        

 

I CHOSEN DELIVERY IN RELAY POINT: BUT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED DELIVERY CONFIRMATION?

 If 4-5 working days after your order, you have not received a delivery confirmation at the relay point, there is a small problem! Contact us immediately at commande@fleurdesoleil.fr for us to learn quickly.   

 

I MAKE TWO ORDERS! IS IT POSSIBLE TO GATHER THEM TO AVOID PAYING TWICE THE COSTS OF PORTS?

Our workshop generally groups together orders, but do not hesitate to write to us at commande@fleurdesoleil.fr ! If your first order hasn't shipped yet, we'll be happy to bring your two orders together and refund you the saved shipping costs.  

 

CAN I CHANGE MY DELIVERY ADDRESS ? 

No, we cannot change the address once the package has been delivered to our carrier. Write to us quickly if you made a mistake so that we can indicate the change of address to our workshop before delivering the package to GLS: commande@fleurdesoleil.fr 

 

CAN I HAVE DELIVERED IN CORSICA, THE DOM-TOM AND ABROAD?

We deliver in Corsica with colissimo.

We deliver abroad, allow 3 to 10 days for European Union countries with GLS. For the United Kingdom and Switzerland orders are sent by Colissimo.

For overseas departments and territories and the rest of the world, contact us so that we can give you the cost of transport.

 

 

RETURNS & REFUNDS

 

HOW TO MAKE A RETURN ?

You have 14 days to return one or more items to us : your refund will be made upon receipt and checking of the items!  

(1) PREPARE YOUR PACKAGE: Place the items to be returned in their original packaging or in a normal envelope. We thank you in advance for ensuring that the tablecloth is as well folded as when you received it.                

(2) APPOINTMENT AT THE POSTAL:               

If you have been delivered to mainland France - Returns are your responsibility unless it is an error on our part or there is a defect. To limit costs, you can send us the envelope without acknowledgment of receipt. Don't forget to keep your proof of deposit / receipt! 

If you have been delivered abroad - Returns are also your responsibility.

Upon receipt, we will send the exchange or refund to you according to your decision.

 

IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE AN EXCHANGE?

Yes there is no problem to make an exchange, send us an email to contact@fleurdesoleil.fr with your order number and which product you wish to receive. Return the product to us by post and upon receipt of your return, our workshop will send you your new order. The shipping costs will remain your responsibility.    

 

To avoid this inconvenience, do not hesitate to order our samples before ordering, request up to 3 samples by writing to contact@fleurdesoleil.fr 

I RETURNED AN ITEM: WHEN WILL I BE REFUNDED?

Your refund will be made upon receipt of your package and control of the items. We do it as quickly as possible so that your return can be processed as soon as possible!
